Meet Muddy Paws!

I’m hyper for my work I’m addicted obsessed and fully immersed. Everything I make is the only piece like it. I see an image and feel it’s one I’ll make into a piece. I can’t explain it any better…it’s just a knowing. I am primarily self taught but I did study in primary school and well as in college before life took control. I left school becoming a stay at home mother of three and homeschooler, but clay came back.  I’ve never let it go. I’ve strived daily to learn more and constantly seek to push myself. I truly love the path I’ve followed. All my illustrations are one of a kind and original. Every piece is for someone just as special as they are.

Q: Favorite clay?
A: Cashmere from New Mexico clay Laguna b mix no grog and chocolate from New Mexico clay all rank tops.

Q: Do you make art work in any other mediums?
A: I draw and paint terribly on paper and clothing. Knit, crochet, bead loom, and cook like a crazy person. I will try anything!

Q: Is it hard for you to part with your pieces?
A: Not anymore but sometimes I hang on for weeks to get to know them before I adopt them out.
