Let’s face it, none of us are getting younger and the physical toll throwing pots can impose on your body is not going to improve unless you make some changes. It is widely agreed that one of the things you can do to help limit the damage is to throw in a less crouched position. The only way to do this is to raise the level of your stool and the level of the wheel. We have the wheel part covered and are working on the stool.

Our leg extensions are easy to install and allow you to adjust the height of the wheel to the level that suits you. Some potters want to stand, others just want to raise the wheel a little to adjust the angle of their back while they are throwing. The Legend wheel head height range with leg extensions in place is 25″ to 37″.

Since these items are special order, we do not accept cancellations, refunds, returns, or exchanges for them. Please note the lead time for each large equipment item that you are ordering.
